Ingredients
- 1 cedar plank — 16x7
- 1 lb wild caught skin-on salmon filet
- 2 tbs Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp fresh parsley — chopped
- ½ lemon
Instructions
- Soak the plank in water for a minimum of one hour (if you've got time, soak it for four hours). I usually fill my sink with water to hide the plank and that i use canned foods as weights. this can be an excellent thanks to keep the plank underwater.
- in the meantime rub the Cajun seasoning, salt, and ground pepper over the salmon.
- heat up the grill* on high heat. Place the soaked plank on the grill for concerning 3-5minutes or till it begins to crackle and smoke. Place the salmon fillet with the skin down on the plank.
- Cook for 12-20 minutes (it can depend upon its thickness) or till salmon flakes simply.
- Garnish with contemporary parsley and squeeze lemon over salmon before serving.
