Easy Cedar Plank Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cedar plank — 16x7
  • 1 lb wild caught skin-on salmon filet
  • 2 tbs Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley — chopped
  • ½ lemon

Instructions

  • Soak the plank in water for a minimum of one hour (if you've got time, soak it for four hours). I usually fill my sink with water to hide the plank and that i use canned foods as weights. this can be an excellent thanks to keep the plank underwater.
  • in the meantime rub the Cajun seasoning, salt, and ground pepper over the salmon.
  • heat up the grill* on high heat. Place the soaked plank on the grill for concerning 3-5minutes or till it begins to crackle and smoke. Place the salmon fillet with the skin down on the plank.
  • Cook for 12-20 minutes (it can depend upon its thickness) or till salmon flakes simply.
  • Garnish with contemporary parsley and squeeze lemon over salmon before serving.
